United States Mint Presidential $1 Coins – Andrew Jackson

Introduced in 2007, the American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series showcases the new Presidential $1 Coins. Seventh in the series is the 2008 Andrew Jackson $1 Coin Cover. This limited-edition cover – only 50,000 will be produced – features two Andrew Jackson $1 Coins from the first day of production, June 2, 2008. Each cover includes two $1 coins, one each from the United States Mints at Philadelphia and Denver, on a handsome display card with one of the four U.S. 42-cent Flags 24/7 postage stamps. Additionally, the cover features a portrait of our seventh President in front of an American flag. The postmark of August 14, 2008, Nashville, TN marks the day the Andrew Jackson $1 Coins were first released to the public.
